A Day of Community Connection at the 2026 Bread and Honey Festival
It was wonderful to spend my Saturday at the Bread and Honey Festival and connect with so many members of our community.
One of the best parts of serving as the Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Streetsville is having opportunities like this to meet residents face-to-face, hear about their experiences, and celebrate the strong community spirit that defines our neighborhood. I enjoyed speaking with families, seniors, youth, local entrepreneurs, and volunteers who stopped by our table to share their ideas, ask questions, and learn more about the services and supports available through the federal government.
The Bread and Honey Festival continues to be a cherished tradition that brings together people of all ages through local entertainment, delicious food, small businesses, and community organizations. It was inspiring to see so many volunteers helping create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive event for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you to the festival organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this year’s celebration possible. Your dedication helps strengthen the connections that make Mississauga-Streetsville such a vibrant place to live.
I am grateful to everyone who took the time to stop by and chat, and I look forward to continuing to work with our community to build an even brighter future together.
