I was proud to celebrate Canada Day with families across Mississauga by taking part in the Canada Celebrates FIFA World Cup festivities, attending a citizenship ceremony, joining a community flag raising, and meeting with constituents in Streetsville. 

Canada Day is an opportunity to celebrate the values that bring us together: our diversity, our welcoming communities, and the people who make Canada such a special place to call home. It was especially meaningful to welcome new Canadians at the citizenship ceremony, recognizing the many journeys and stories that continue to shape our country. 

As we look ahead to welcoming the world for the FIFA World Cup in 2026, it was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate both our national pride and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for Canada.
