It was wonderful to spend an afternoon with familiar faces and friends from the Meet and Greet Senior Club as they celebrated their very first Annual Picnic.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of getting to know many members of this community, so it was especially meaningful to join them for an afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, and friendship. Gatherings like these are about much more than an event - they create opportunities for seniors to stay connected, build lasting friendships, and continue being active and engaged in our community.

Our seniors have given so much to the families, neighbourhoods, and communities we call home. I am always grateful for the opportunity to hear their stories, learn from their experiences, and spend time together.

Congratulations to the Meet and Greet Senior Club on your first Annual Picnic, and thank you for always making me feel so welcome. I look forward to many more gatherings together in the years ahead.
